Program Overview
The Africa Finance Program (AFP) is a 12-month structured learning and development journey designed to build a strong finance talent pipeline across Africa. It accelerates readiness through cohort onboarding, rotations, finance exposure, and a final job stint.
Program Structure
Phase 1: Corporate Onboarding – Cohort-based introduction to Olam Agri and its operations.
Phase 2: BU / Country Rotations – Cross-country and business unit exposure in pairs.
Phase 3: Finance Exposure – Deep dive into reporting, treasury, compliance, risk, FP&A, SAP and digital finance.
Phase 4: Job Stint – On-the-job execution, project delivery, and final review.
Eligibility Requirements
Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent
Professional certification (ACCA, CFA, ICAN, FMVA, DFCE or equivalent)
3–5 years of finance-related experience
English required; additional languages may apply
Willingness to work across Africa, including remote locations
Skills Required
Core finance knowledge (accounting, audit, finance)
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, and Excel
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Adaptability to diverse environments
